Come learn how to eco print on luxurious silk charmeuse scarves with natural dyes with me! You can choose from a rainbow of silk scarves that have been dyed with natural dyes, and various leaves that contain natural dyes, then layout the leaves in any design you wish, and the leaves will imprint their color onto the fabric. While our bundles steam for 2 hours you can see my samples and learn about natural dyes, non toxic mordants, and I give you resources on where to source materials, dyes, and support groups for continued learning. The scarf is 14"x72" and will be pre mordanted and alum and pre dyed with non toxic plants, no harsh chemicals are involved. You will have the option to print another scarf if you wish at an additional cost if you want to make more than 1. This is a very easy class for beginners, and is 4 hours long with a break in the middle. Feel free to bring food and snacks if you wish for while our bundles steam.
