Come learn the magic of making your own organic indigo vat and Shibori, the Japanese art of tie dye! Everyone will learn various stitching and binding techniques to create their own unique design on their own silk shawl to take home. You will also learn how to make an organic indigo vat with no harsh chemicals so you can feel good about the water we give back to the earth when we are done, and no chemicals touching you skin as you wear your work of art. Indigo is a very special natural dye that needs a few extra steps, but you will be amazed as the color turns from green to that magic blue in front of your eyes.
